| Article number: kb-8 | Q. I can recieve email, but not send it.
A. For SMTP, you have to have "My Server needs Authentication" checked on whatever email program you use. For example in Outlook Express, this is done by:
Clicking on "Tools" from the main window. Clicking on "Accounts" in the drop down. Highlighting the account and clicking on "Properties". Clicking on the "Server" tab, and then checking "My server needs authentication" under Outgoing Mail Server.
