Q. What is a Parked Domain and What is an Add On Domain?

A. A parked domain is a domain you own, but it is not associated with any web site of it's own. You may want to do this to keep some one else from snatching the domain name. Let's say you have mysite.com and you have your web site associated with that. You may want to purchase and park mysite.net and mysite.org just so someone else doesn't buy them and put material totally opposite of your site and cause you headaches and confusion to your visitors.

An Add On domain is more than one domain that points to the same web site. For example you may own hotpeppers.com but if someone types into their address bar habeneropeppers.com it goes to the same site.
